There is never a bad time to make cookies. These Chocolate Chip M&M Cookies are sure to satisfy every sweet-tooth. They are soft, chocolatey, and perfect for any occasion! This recipe is also super versatile; the M&Ms can be substituted with really any type of chopped candy, or even replaced by chocolate chips for a traditional chocolate chip cookie. The possibilities are endless! Either way, you will not be upset with the results.
Chocolate Chip M&M Cookies
Ingredients
- ½ cup softened butter
- ½ cup granulated sugar
- ½ cup packed brown sugar
- 1 large egg
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 1⅓ cups all-purpose flour
- ¼ cup vanilla instant pudding mix
- ½ tsp baking soda
- ½ tsp salt
- 1 cup chocolate chips
- 1 cup M&Ms
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F.
- Using a standing or hand mixer, cream the butter and sugars together in a large bowl, until fluffy and smooth.
- Add egg and vanilla, beating until fully combined.
- In a large bowl, add the flour, pudding mix, baking soda, and salt. Mix together and slowly add to the wet ingredients, just until combined.
- Fold in the chocolate chips and M&Ms. Using a medium cookie scoop, scoop dough onto cookie sheets leaving 1 inch between each cookie.
- Bake for 10 minutes and let cool on cookie sheets. Transfer to an air-tight container for storage.
